Ubisoft: Nintendo NX to bring back casual market
Coming from Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot,during Ubisoft's financial conference call for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2016/17, He mentions that he believes that the He's seen the NX and believes it will bring back the casual market.
“On the NX, what we have seen is really great, so we think having a new machine coming is going to help the industry to continue to grow and to take lots more casual players back in the industry.”
Of course many people are worried that means that the NX will be another Wii,in terms of power, and not be like the PS4 or Xbox 1. I believe that by his statement he believes the audience who didn't adapt to another console after the Wii will come back to purchase an NX. The NX could be a powerful console that won't alienate the casual audience that the PS4 and Xbox 1 have somewhat been doing.
