Amiibo support coming to Animal Crossing New Leaf

Nintendo has just announced that Animal Crossing New Leaf will be receiving an update this fall that adds amiibo support! Now you can scan both amiibo figures/cards from the animal crossing line to get exclusive content and or have your favorite character as a neighbor! one note to make is that it's unclear igf any other amiibo are supported but seeing the squid sisters content makes me beleive that we will be seeing support from the other lines.
