Rumor: NX to be a portable handheld/console

Earlier this morning EuroGamer has managed to get a scoop on some rumored info on the NX. According to EuroGamer the NX will be a powerful handheld that comes with detachable controllers. The re-attachable controllers can be connected to a "dock station" for console gaming on the TV.

Eurogmaer has also stated that the Nintendo NX will be using cartridges as it's main physical media. The cartridges will be a standard 32GB size, although it's bigger for handheld games it's significantly smaller than most modern console games.

Thanks to the drastic design, backwards compatibility will most likely not be available.

Of course this all rumor so do take this with a grain of salt and wait until Nintendo officially confirms it.
