Nintendo reveals reasoning behind Pokemon Go Plus device being delayed
The Pokemon Go Plus device sold like hotcakes selling out nearly every retail and some are even selling their order for a high price on eBay! About a week ago we found out that the device wwas being delayed until an unknown date in September but we didn't know the reason why.
Well Polygon managed to speak to a Nintendo rep where they confimred it was dleayed to make sure it worked with the game:
"The delay is due to the preparations for the Pokémon Go application update in order to optimize Pokémon Go Plus. In order for us to offer new experiences to play Pokémon Go with Pokémon Go Plus with a quality level high enough to satisfy as many people as possible, we decided that it is necessary to take enough time for the completion. We ask for your understanding."
