Retro Studios working on a new IP?

It's rumored that Retro studios is working on a new IP for the Nintendo NX but what it is no one really knows! Well according to Emily Rogers,who's known for leaks, has clarified that Retro Studios IS working on a new IP but it's not a new IP to Nintendo. Confused? Basically it means that Retro Studios is working on a IP that they've never touched before but Nintendo has in the past. This means that retro studios new project is neither a Metroid or Donkey Kong Game.
