Gold Coins in MyNintendo now last longer

Gold Coins used to last only 6 months but niw Nintendo has doubled it and will last a whole year!

From MyNintendo:

Gold Points are now valid for 12 months after you collect them.

Up until now, both Gold Points and Platinum Points have been set to expire 6 months after you earn them. However, moving forward, your points will be valid for different lengths of time depending on what type of points they are.

Gold Points: Valid for 12 months after you collect them. Platinum Points (all types): Valid for 6 months after you collect them.

Remember that when you redeem points for rewards, the points closest to expiring will automatically be used first. If you need to check the points you’ve collected, the points you’ve earned, or any points that have expired, be sure to take a look at “Points history” in the My Nintendo menu.
