WSJ supports NX cartridge rumor

WallStreet Journal has mentioned in the past that Nintendo will use cartridges on the NX and today they made a report claiming exactly that:

''Nintendo Co. plans to adopt cartridges for its next-generation videogame console, people familiar with the matter said, a step that might prompt a reassessment of the old-school format.''

Not only that they have also reported that Nintendo will host an event to discuss the NX sometime before the Tokyo game show this month:

"Nintendo Co. plans to adopt cartridges for its next-generation videogame console, people familiar with the matter said, a step that might prompt a reassessment of the old-school format.

Analysts have said an announcement could come ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, which begins Sept. 15."
