Pokemon Sun & Moon: Day/Night cycles details

Some of the Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Sunand Pokémon Moon are different. What's more, there’s a difference in the way time is set in the two games. Except for a few scenes, time in Pokémon Sun andPokémon Moon is tied to the actual time. Pokémon Sun operates on the same time as your Nintendo 3DS system, but time in the world of Pokémon Moonis shifted by 12 hours. Some of the Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Sunand Pokémon Moon are different—including Solgaleo and Lunala, which hold the key to the story. It seems that some of the Pokémon that appear as Totem Pokémon in the trials are also different.
