Capcom set to celebrate multiple MegaMan anniversaries
According to a licensing page,Capcom is set to celebrate anniversaries for Megaman Classic,MegaMan Legends(64)and Megaman Zero in 2017. Capcom is reportedly looking for partners to help celebrate each version of these MegaMan series. The other sub series such as X, Starforce and ZX will have to wait a little longer as the other 3 mentioned above are the are the ones with anniversaries in 2017.
Speaking of StarForce & ZX, Capcom won't celebrate them until they turn "15" years old. Earlier this year Capcom had a celebration for the Battle Network series. If Capcom does indeed intend to celebrate each sub series instead of a whole franchise,then we can be looking at books,soundtracks,and figures for each series as they did with Battle Network.
Of course all of this is from the Japanese side of things and makes you wonder if Capcom will do anything for MegaMan outside of Japan.
