Super Mario Run has the biggest launch in the history of the App Store
It's no secret that people have wanted Mario on their phones for a long time now and Nintendo has finally delivered it with Super Mario Run. Nintendo was always hesitant to put such known franchises on smart devices but they can rest easy now as Super Mario Run has the biggest launch in the history of the App Store!
Similar to it's cousin Pokemon GO,Super Mario Run is an instant hit with it already being downloaded 2.85 million times on day one! It took Pokemon Go a couple days to reach 5.6 million and only launched with 900,000 downloads.
Super Mario Run should hit even higher numbers in the coming days and the holidays could also help push it even further.
