GameStop no longer accepting trade ins for toys to life,may include amiibo
It seems GameStop is no longer accepting toys to life for trading in making used toys to life stock very limited. If a Reddit post is to be believed then most GameStop locations have already stopped accepting trade in offers for toys to life since November 29 of this year and it seems many other GameStop locations are set to follow.
It's no doubt that toys to life like Disney Infinity and Skylanders are no longer popular as they once were so it would make sense for GameStop to stop accepting them in. This also may mean that GameStop locations will no longer sell used toys to life.
One thing that isn't clear is that if this includes amiibo. While finding used amiibo were slim compared to the many used skylanders and Disney characters,this may spell bad news to collectors trying to find that one amiibo or people who simply want to trade theirs in.
