Nintendo cancels Project Giant Robot

Back in 2014 during E3,Nintendo unveiled a new game that took advantage of the Wii U gamepad where you could control a giant robot fighting other giant robots. the idea seemed cool but the game was nowhere near complete in fact every year during Nintendo's brief meetings the title always had an "TBA" release date next to it's name.

When Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch many fans were confused to see if this will be the Wii U's last game or will it be ported over to the Switch. Well it looks like fans don't need to worry anymore as Nintendo has officially cancelled the project.

Nintendo gave a statement to Polygon : “we made this decision after considering our overall product and development strategy.”
