Nintendo to release SNES mini according to a new rumor

While the NES classic mini had a very short shelf life it seems Nintendo isn't done with making retro "mini" consoles. Sources close to Eurogamer have revealed that Nintendo is making a SNES Classic mini with a slated Holiday 2017 release. The SNES mini will include an array of built in games but it's unclear on how many games it will have.

Eurogamer also states that production is under way already and was a major part in ceasing production for the NES mini. The SNES mini will also include the easy plug in play of it's predecessor.

Of course this is all a rumor but, with Nintendo's success with the NES Mini and Eurogamer's streak of getting rumors right , this seems very likely. Hopefully Nintendo,if a real product, makes more than enough for customers this time and includes a longer cable for the controller.
